Chapter Two : Ai

Summary:  He thought she was a lesbian and she thought he was gay. With these thoughts, they lived under one roof. And so, their apartment-mate life began~

*Chapter Two*

Blissful.

No, it was more than that. It was too overwhelming that she felt light-headed. For these 26 years old she lived, this day was the best day she could ever wish. A wide smiled never fade from decorating her lips. It was tiring indeed. But she wasn’t going to change it.

She threw her body on the bed and start laughing maniacally. There were no words existed could ever describe what she felt at the moment. Word that she could think at the very moment was MIRACLE.

The first miracle –as she claimed- was in the morning, when she reached her office, she received a very shocking astonishing news. She was given a month holiday! Mentally, she kept thanking the director for sent her boss which was his daughter to a holiday, to prepare her wedding which will take place in a month. As an assistant, she was also given a same duration holiday. Man~ who doesn’t like holiday?? Everybody does!

Second miracle was when she cleaned hers and her boss’ office. She received a not-so-surprising call from her parents which later became the most surprising call ever. Her parents were going to visit her siblings in Taiwan. You know what that’s mean? That’s mean… no more calling in every five minutes! No more lecturing! No more boyfriend hunting! No more chains around her wings and cage! She was now a free bird that can fly to the sky! Cliché huh? That was Izumi’s middle name.

The last overwhelming miracle she received was just a minute ago. Someone who was very close and precious for her was back in town. Sawatari Kazuma was actually her cousin. But they were very close just like an older brother and a little sister. She loved him very much. From him she received the feeling of getting spoilt and everytime she was with him, she felt as if she was the cutest creature. Because she was grown up without a father –until her mother remarried- Kazuma always act as one. Being bitchy and snarky was his way to show his care and love. Very eccentric but Izumi loved him for that.

Five years ago, he flew to Paris. He received an offer to work for a car manufacturing company own by Japanese. He always was coming back to Japan for every two months with reason he was missing his family but Izumi knew better than believing in that. The most massive reason he coming back was for his girlfriend who refused to go with him to Paris. But last year, he broke the routine and for a whole year he didn’t came back, saying that he was busy.

And when Izumi received a call from him, saying he will come back… Man~ could life get any better?

Nothing ever lasted so long. She knew that. But she won’t waste this precious time to think about it. After all, her brain was now full with activities she planned to do for her holiday.

“Turn to left”

“Left”

“Right”

“Right”

“No. Left! I said turn--Treeee!!!!”

“AHHHHH!!!!!!!!” Izumi screamed as she hit the break pedal hard with eyes shut close. Slowly and nervously, when the car finally stopped, she opened her eyes. The car stopped just an inch from the huge tree on the roadside. Luckily, the road was quiet –that was why she chose the road on the first place- or else, the back of the car might be ‘kissed’ by another car. She was in the middle of sighing in relief when a loud growled from the passenger seat beside her made her flinched on her seat.

“Left is right. Right is wrong damn it!”

It was no other than her neighbor aka her friend aka her junior in University, Mizushima Kouta. A 24 years old nerd-but-good-looking young man with a ‘good boy’ image and aura. He might look calm, polite and nice. But… don’t judge book by its cover~

 “AAHHH~ I’m so gonna bald by you dumbass!!” he yelled as he pulled his hair in frustration.

“Sorry okay?! But your instruction is confusing~”

 “Get out” he commanded as he climbed out of the car then claimed the driver’s seat right after he shoved Izumi out of the way. “I’m not teaching you anymore!” he growled at her and gestured with his head for her to sit on the passenger’s seat “Get in!”

“Where are we going?” she asked as the car moving to opposite direction she was heading at the first place.

“I sent you home”

“But you promised to send me to airport”

“Not anymore! You almost hurt my baby” he sulked.

“Look. I’m sorry okay? I really am. Afterall, it just ALMOST” she apologized and tried to defend herself. Wrong move. The mighty Kouta glanced at her with a flaming eyes and the ‘lawyer mode’ was now activated. “Fine!” she shouted desperately as he opened his mouth. Seriously, she wasn’t in the mood to hear another lecture. This was the sole reason why she never interested at him, despite how good looking, rich and smart he was. “I won’t touch your car ever again but this, you have to send me to airport. Nii-chan really going to kill me if I’m late and its-“ she looked at the watch on her left wrist “-10 minutes before-“ she paused then shrieked “Oh My God!! It’s ten more minutes. Now 9 more minutes! And if I take bus, I will be very late!”

“Sorry to say, but I don’t care” he said with cold tone and eyes glued on the road.

She turned her body toward the driver, made an upset face, clutched on his arm then whined “You promised me Kou-chan. Promise are meant to fulfill. You used to say that. But look! You’re one of those-”

“Fine. If you stop being so annoying” he snapped and groaned. He will never win this woman. Really. Tsked, woman! Dramatic as ever.

A wide grin spread over her face. She hugged the fuming man sideways ignored his scowled “Thank you Kou-chan!! I love you!! You’re the best!” Then she turned her body to the front view and stayed still just like he ordered. Inside her mind, she was laughing her infamous evil laugh. The feeling of getting what you desire was indeed wonderful!

A/N: this chapter was shorter. I’ll try to make all my chapters this long.

This is boring. I know~ but I need to write it to connect to another chapter. Or else, it will be very confusing and all.

Hahahaha I was too lazy and it will be very LONG chapters to write a ‘full version’ of those miracles. I hope its not confusing.
